Hello! I’m Maureen (Gillies) Carbonneau, and I'm delighted you found me.

You might recognize me as one of the owners of Page Six Wedding Boutique in Skippack, or perhaps from having lived in this area for a good part of my life. My roots are deep here—Lansdale Catholic High School, Harleysville Bridal Shoppe, and Chestnut Hill College are some of my former haunts. I live in Lower Salford with my husband Mike and, usually, a stray cat or two. When I'm not working, I'm often enjoying the outdoors, good food and conversation, baking bread, tai chi, beach time, hosting game night with friends, watching Korean series on Netflix to name a few.

Why did I become an Independent Medicare Insurance Broker in addition to my bridal business?

The simple answer is that I genuinely enjoy helping people. Both wedding attire and Medicare are about finding the absolute best fit—since nothing is truly one-size-fits-all. Over my 35+ years of working with brides, grooms, and their families, I’ve become an expert in finding the solutions.

My personal journey into the world of Medicare sparked this new career path. As a recent enrollee myself, I became fascinated by the process and the multitude of options. Should I stick with original Medicare (Parts A, B, and D)? Should I add a Medicare Supplement—and what exactly is that? How does Medicare Advantage work? What is the best fit for me, and what is the cost?

What began as a fact-finding lunch with friends ended with me getting my license in 2024. I was lucky enough to connect with Dan Young from Young's Insurance Services, whom I met through a client at my bridal shop. Dan graciously invited me to join his seasoned team and I am truly grateful.
