Hello my name is Charles Brady and I am a Licensed Health, Life, and Annuities Agent in the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I was born in Norristown Pa and have lived here in the Blue Bell area for the past 20 years. I have 4 great kids and as of today, I have 5 Grandchildren. I’ve coached baseball for the past 20 years and I played before that. Currently I’m an assistant coach for the Wissahickon American Legion Baseball program for 16 to 19 year olds…needless to say I love baseball!
As for my working career, I went into the construction business out of high school and worked in that industry for 27 years. I worked my way up the ladder quickly becoming a foreman by the time I was 21 years old. I became a carpenter and owned my own business for 20 years as a home improvement contractor. One day in June, 2000 I came down with an illness that nearly killed me.
Cancer runs in my family but like most men I thought I was invincible…turns out I’m not. Anyway I found out I had colon cancer while I was in the hospital with a rare lung disease. My doctors told me back then that the lung disease was actually more deadly than the colon cancer. Anyway to make a long story short…I survived that ordeal and I feel like I’ve been blessed with a second chance.
During my recovery I decided that I wanted to pursue a new career where I could help people in a different and more meaningful way. In my infinite wisdom I decided that a carpenter would be a good insurance man. I never considered the schooling involved but I dug in and plowed through getting my Insurance License in 2002 while still recovering from cancer. The good news is I recovered and today I lead an active healthy life.
Over the years I’ve been fortunate enough to associate myself with good people and I’ve learned a great deal but when the opportunity to work with the Young’s presented itself to me I decided that I found a great company to work for.
Today I’m proud to say that I’ve found a business that truly helps people. It’s very rewarding to help folks by simply explaining to them their options regarding Medicare and then offering them options that will save them money. I love the idea of helping senior citizens when they’re in the prime of their life.
The key to my success over the years has been the personal care and customer service I provide my clients!
